Rano Karno
Rano Karno (born 8 October 1960) is an Indonesian actor and politician. From his acting career he is known for starring in the 1979 film '' Gita Cinta dari SMA''. On 30 October 2011 he was elected Deputy Governor of Banten. He has served as acting Governor of Banten since 14 May 2014. Biography Karno was born on 8 October 1960 in Jakarta, the son of actor Soekarno M. Noer and Lily Istiarti Soekarno, and grew up in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Due to his father's low earnings, he was raised in poverty; he later quipped that his family had had one plate to feed five people, like a popular dangdut song. Although the family's finances would not have been enough to see him through his schooling, he was able to finish his schooling after the fees were reduced by half. Ratu Atut Chosiyah
Ratu Atut Chosiyah (born 16 May 1962) is a former governor of the province of Banten, Indonesia. She was suspended from office in 2014 because of a corruption case. She held office for several terms. Before her election as governor in 2006, she was the deputy governor under Djoko Munandar starting from 11 January 2002. Djoko was involved in a corruption case and was suspended from office in October 2005. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono appointed Ratu Atut as the acting governor to take over Djoko's administrative duties and she later became governor. She thus became the first female governor in Indonesia. In May 2014, she was formally charged by the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission for alleged corruption. Dangdut () is a genre of Indonesian folk music that is partly derived and fused from Hindustani, Arabic and to lesser extent, Malay and local folk music. 2017 Banten Gubernatorial Election
A gubernatorial election was held on 15 February 2017 to elect the governor of Banten province for the five-year term between 2017 and 2022. The election was held simultaneously with other provincial and local elections across the country as part of the 2017 local elections. It pitted incumbent Rano Karno against People's Representative Council member and former mayor of Tangerang Wahidin Halim. Fauzi Bowo
Fauzi Bowo (born 10 April 1949) is an Indonesian politician and diplomat who was the Indonesian Ambassador to Germany from 2013 to 2018. He was the governor of Jakarta between 2007 and 2012 and previously served as deputy governor from 2002 to 2007 under Sutiyoso's governorship. Ismet Iskandar (born 2 May 1948) is an Indonesian former politician who served as the regent of Tangerang Regency between 2003 and 2013. Arizal (born in Airmolek, Indragiri, Riau on January 11, 1943 - died on May 18, 2014) was a prominent Indonesian film director. Career His parents, Ibrahim Sidi Mangkuto and Matayam bt M. Malin Kundang, also called Si Tanggang and Nakhoda Manis, is a mythical person who originates from a West Sumatra, West Sumatran folktale about retribution to an ungrateful son.
