IASUK Distribution is the distribution arm of the PIAS Entertainment Group, IASEntertainment Group and is the United Kingdom's largest independent sales, marketing and distribution company. Founded in March 1994 as Vital Distribution, Ltd., and renamed in January 2008, IASUK represents over 100 record labels from around the world. With offices in London and Dublin, Ireland, IASUK has played a significant role in the European and worldwide successes of some of the most well-known independent artists, including Oasis, The White Stripes, The Strokes, Moby, and others. Beggars Group
Beggars Group is a British record company that owns or distributes several other labels, including 4AD, Rough Trade Records, Matador Records, XL Recordings and Young. History The companies’ roots stem from the Beggars Banquet record shops, which first opened in 1973 with a shop in Earls Court, London. In 1977, spurred by the prevailing DIY aesthetics of the British punk rock movement (then at the height of its popularity), the shop founders decided to join the fray as an independent label and release records as Beggars Banquet Records, which became the group's flagship label and namesake. Ninja Tune is an English independent record label based in London. It has a satellite office in Los Angeles. It was founded by Matt Black and Jonathan More (better known as Coldcut) and managed by Peter Quicke and others. On 19 June 2008 a deal was signed with Sony BMG which entitled them to an arranged portion of the profits from the next three Oasis studio albums to be released through Big Brother. The name of the company is a reference to the band's guitarist, singer and songwriter Noel Gallagher, who is the older brother of lead singer Liam Gallagher.
