Orizatlán
Orizatlán (officially: San Felipe Orizatlán) is a town and one of the 84 municipalities of Hidalgo, in central-eastern Mexico. The municipal seat lies at Orizatlán. The municipality covers an area of 308 km². As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 38,472. Toponymy Its name is due in its first part to the patron saint San Felipe de Jesús and in the second part to the Greek root ''oryza'' (rice) and the voice Náhuatl ''tlan'' ( place), so it is understood that it means "place of rice".The etymological origin of the name of a municipality can have different interpretations or have an uncertain origin, this is the most common or most accepted by the municipal government and its residents, according to the ''Encyclopedia of the Municipalities of Mexico.'' Náhuatl
Nahuatl (; ), Aztec, or Mexicano is a language or, by some definitions, a group of languages of the Uto-Aztecan language family. Varieties of Nahuatl are spoken by about Nahua peoples, most of whom live mainly in Central Mexico and have smaller populations in the United States. Huejutla
Huejutla de Reyes is a city and one of the 84 municipalities of Hidalgo, in central-eastern Mexico. The name comes from the Nahuatl ''huexotl'' ("willow") and ''tlan'' ("place"), while "de Reyes" commemorates local cobbler Antonio Reyes Cabrera who died defending Huejutla from French invaders in 1866. The municipality covers an area of 377.8 km2 in the northeast of Hidalgo, in the Huasteca region, on the border with the state of Veracruz. As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 115,786. but only 36,305 live in the metropolitan area, whereas the remaining population live in various small communities.
