	Mutamadiyah The delegations of Tunisia (''mutamadiyah'', plural ''mutamadiyat'') are the second level administrative divisions of Tunisia between the governorates and the sectors (''imadats''). there were 24 governorates which were divided into 264 delegations and further divided into 2073 sectors. 	Mohamedia, Tunisia Mohamedia is a town in Ben Arous Governorate, Tunisia. was governed by the joint municipality of Mohamedia before its becomes an independent municipality, it is also the seat of an governoral delegation. Near the town are the ruins of Megalopolis a Roman Era civitas (town) of Roman Proconsulari. Mohamedia was formerly known by the name of Ṭunbudha, and has been known by the current name of al-Muhammadiya since around the 11th century CE. The town grew up around the strategic Byzantine fortress of Tunbudha which, from its hilltop position, controlled the roads into Tunis and Carthage. Equipped with an Arab garrison soon after the Muslim conquest of Carthage by Hasan ibn al-Nu'man at the end of the 7th century, Tunbudha was the site of a rebellion in the 9th century. 	Hammam Lif Hammam-Lif ( ar, حمام الأنف, pronounced hammam linf) is a coastal town about 20 km south-east of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. It has been known since antiquity for its thermal springs originating in Mount Bou Kornine. History Naro, which means fire, was Hammam-Lif's Punic name. In 1883, the French captain Ernest De Prudhomme discovered in his Hammam-lif residence the first archeological ruins of an ancient synagogue that once stood in Hammam-Lif in 3rd-5th century AD. Hammam-Lif was once the home of Italian, Greek and Jewish communities, especially before the end of the French colonial period. Hammam-Lif's most interesting site is probably Dar El Bey, which was the residence of Ali II Bey, the 4th bey of Tunis. 	Hammam Chott Hammam Chott is a town and commune in the Ben Arous Governorate, Tunisia. It is located 20 kilometers from the capital, Tunis, in the southern suburbs. It is a seaside resort town. The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) had its headquarters in Hammam Chott before an Israeli bombing attack in 1985. On 1 October 1985, the PLO headquarters in Hammam Chott was bombed and destroyed by the Israeli Air Force in Operation Wooden Leg. Origin of name Chott in Arabic means "beach" which is appropriate due to Hammam Chott's location on the Gulf of Tunis. 	Ezzahra Ezzahra (الزهراء) is a coastal town on the outskirts of Tunis located south of the capital. Ezzahra is bounded by the Mediterranean Sea and the municipalities of Rades, Hammam Lif and Boumhel EL-Bassatine. Administratively attached to the governorate of Ben Arous, it is the seat of a delegation and a municipality of 31,792 inhabitants (in 2014) while the city itself has a population of 6000 inhabitants.
