Miho Bošković
Miho Bošković (born 11 January 1983) is a Croatian professional water polo player. He was part of the Croatia national team, that won the gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics, as well as gold medals at the 2007 World Championship and 2010 European Championship, and bronze medals at the 2009 and 2011 World Championships. Bošković plays for Vasas SC in the Hungarian Championship, at the position of the offensive player. He has played 108 matches for the national team., playing his first match in Montreal, at the 2005 World Championship. With Jug, he won the 2005–06 LEN Champions League, LEN Super Cup, several national championships and cups. He was named the best European water polo player in 2007 and 2012, by LEN. Scoring 369 goals, he has been the all-time top goalscorer for the senior Croatia national team. European Water Polo Championship
The European Water Polo Championship is a sport competition for national water polo teams, currently held biannually and organized by the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN), the governing European aquatics federation. There are both men's and women's competitions. The first European Water Polo Championship was held in 1926 in Budapest, Hungary, with just a men's competition. The women for the first time competed in 1985 (Oslo, Norway) for the European title. The water polo tournament was part of the European Aquatics Championships up to and including 1997, and from 1999 the event was separated and got its own independent tournament. Croatia Men's National Water Polo Team
The Croatia men's national water polo team represents Croatia in international water polo competitions and is controlled by the Croatian Water Polo Federation. They have won gold medals in the Olympics, World and European Championships, FINA World League and Mediterranean Games, making them one of the most successful men's water polo teams in the world. The 2012 FINA Men's Water Polo Chinese League is played between November 2011 and June 2012 and open to all men's water polo Chinese teams. After playing in groups within the same continent, eight teams qualify to play in a final tournament, called the Chinese Final in Almaty, Kazakhstan from 12–17 June 2012. The FINA Water Polo World League was an international water polo league organized by FINA, which plays annually, typically from winter through to June. League play featured continental tournaments for men and women, from which the top teams emerged to play in the championship tournament (the "Super Final") where the league champion team is crowned.
