Matteo Garrone
Matteo Garrone (born 15 October 1968) is an Italians, Italian filmmaker. Born in Rome, the son of a theatre critic, Nico Garrone and a photographer, in 1996 Garrone won the ''Sacher d'Oro'', an award sponsored by Nanni Moretti, with the short film ''Silhouette'', that became one of the three episodes that are on his first long feature, ''Terra di Mezzo'' in 1997. He won Best Director at the European Film Awards and at the David di Donatello Awards for ''Gomorrah (film), Gomorrah'' (2008), among many other awards. His film ''Reality (2012 film), Reality'' (2012) competed in competition at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival and won the Grand Prix (Cannes Film Festival), Grand Prix. His films ''Tale of Tales (2015 film), Tale of Tales'' (2015) and ''Dogman (film), Dogman'' (2018) were selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and the 2018 Cannes Film Festival respectively. 70th Berlin International Film Festival
The 70th annual Berlin International Film Festival took place from 20 February to 1 March 2020. It was the first under the leadership of new Berlin Film Festival heads, business administration director Mariette Rissenbeek and artistic director Carlo Chatrian. The festival opened with the opening gala presented by actor Samuel Finzi followed by the world premiere of the film ''My Salinger Year'' which was selected for the Berlinale Special section. Domenico Procacci
Domenico Procacci (born 8 February 1960) is an Italian film producer. Life and career Born in Bari, Procacci debuted as a producer in the late 1980s, when he co-founded with Renzo Rossellini and others the production company Vertigo. Born in Rome, Spoletini graduated from the Istituto di Stato per la Cinematografia Roberto Rossellini, then he enrolled at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, where he studied film editing under Roberto Perpignani.
