Kieran Culkin
Kieran Kyle Culkin (born September 30, 1982) is an American actor. The brother of actors Macaulay and Rory, he began his career as a child actor in the films ''Home Alone'' (1990), ''Father of the Bride'' (1991)'', The Mighty'' (1998), and ''The Cider House Rules'' (1999). He achieved a career breakthrough after starring in the film ''Igby Goes Down'' (2002), for which he was nominated for his first Golden Globe Award, as well as winning a Critics' Choice Movie Award and a Satellite Award. He later appeared in the films '' Scott Pilgrim vs. the World'' (2010), ''Margaret'' (2011), '' Wiener-Dog'' (2016), and ''No Sudden Move'' (2021). Professional Children's School (PCS) is a not-for-profit, college preparatory school geared toward working and aspiring child actors and dancers in grades six through twelve. The school was founded in New York City in 1914 to provide an academic education to young people working on the New York stage, in Vaudeville, or "on the road". PCS was co-founded in 1914 by Jean Greer and Jane Harris Hall when they learned that children who were working in entertainment were not able to attend traditional school. ''Wiener-Dog'' is a 2016 American comedy film directed and written by Todd Solondz. Starring an ensemble cast led by Ellen Burstyn, Kieran Culkin, Julie Delpy, Danny DeVito, Greta Gerwig, Tracy Letts, and Zosia Mamet, the film serves as a spin-off from Solondz's 1995 film '' Welcome to the Dollhouse'', which also features the character of Dawn Wiener.
