Hardbodies
''Hardbodies'' is a 1984 American sex comedy film about three middle-aged men who hire a younger man to help them pick up women at the beach. The film was directed by Mark Griffiths, and stars Grant Cramer, Courtney Gains and Gary Wood. It was followed by a 1986 sequel entitled ''Hardbodies 2''. Plot Scotty, a con man who does whatever he can to get along, is evicted from his apartment for non-payment of rent. He soon finds three older divorced men who have a lot of money, however they do not have a trait that Scotty possesses: talent with women. They agree to let Scotty stay with them at their beach house (and pay him $600 a month), if he returns the favor by teaching them how to pick up women. ''Hardbodies 2'' is a 1986 adult comedy movie sequel to the 1984 film '' Hardbodies''. It was directed by Mark Griffiths and featured Brad Zutaut, Fabiana Udenio, James Karen and Alba Francesca. The plot involves two men, Scotty and Rags, and pair of film crews in Greece, assuming the identities of students taking part in Semester at Sea, and derives humor from the use of profanity and nudity. The movie was released by CineTel Films and it has a run time of 88 minutes. Leonard Maltin gave the film a "bomb" rating. The film features the Epirotiki Lines cruise ships '' Apollon XI'' and MTS ''Oceanos'' (the setting of Semester at Sea), which ran aground in 1989 due to Typhoon Dan and sank in 1991 due to uncontrolled flooding, respectively. Vixen is an American rock band formed in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 1980. Grant Cramer (born November 10, 1961) is an American actor and producer who has starred in films and on television. He is the son of actress Terry Moore and Stuart Warren Cramer III, and a great-grandson of engineer and inventor Stuart W. Cramer. Cramer's first feature film role was in 1980, when he starred in the horror film '' New Year's Evil''. Thomas Richmond (January 18, 1950 – July 29, 2022) was an American cinematographer who worked in the film industry since the mid-1980s. His first major feature film as cinematographer was ''Stand and Deliver'' (1988), and by the time he shot for ''A Midnight Clear'' (1992), he had settled into working with different directors with ease. Janet Gardner
Janet Patricia Gardner (born March 21, 1962 an American rock singer. She is best known as the former lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the all-female glam metal band Vixen joining in 1983. She was the band's longest serving vocalist having performed on three of the band's four studio albums. When Vixen broke up in 1992 she took a hiatus from singing to pursue personal endeavors. She briefly unofficially reformed Vixen in 1997 with drummer Roxy Petrucci. She returned to Vixen in 2001, later studying to become a dental hygienist. Janice Lynn Kuehnemund (; November 18, 1953 – October 10, 2013) was an American lead guitarist who founded the all-female hard rock/glam metal band Vixen. Life and career Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Kuehnemund formed an all-female band known as Genesis in St. Paul in 1971, initially as a quintet under the name Lemon Pepper. Her father Carl served as a roadie during her band's earliest days. Genesis was later renamed Vixen to prevent confusion with the same-named English band before breaking up in 1974. Metacritic is a website that aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted average).
