David Keith (racing Driver)
David Keith (December 27, 1973 – October 22, 2020) was an American professional stock car racing driver and spotter. Racing career Keith started racing go-karts at age nine and went on to win multiple championships. He went on to race in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series and the NASCAR Busch Series. Francis Steegmuller (July 3, 1906 – October 20, 1994) was an American biographer, translator and fiction writer, who was known chiefly as a Flaubert scholar. Life and career Born in New Haven, Connecticut, Steegmuller graduated from Columbia University in 1927. He contributed numerous short stories and articles to ''The New Yorker'' and also wrote under the pseudonyms of Byron Steel and David Keith. He won two National Book Awards—one in 1971 for Arts and Letters for his biography of Jean Cocteau (''Cocteau: A Biography''),"National Book Awards – 1971"

His breakthrough role was that of aspiring Navy pilot Sid Worley in ''An Officer and a Gentleman'' (1982), for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. Keith is the Gordon McKay Professor of Applied Physics for Harvard University's Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) and professor of public policy for the Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University. Early contributions include development of the first atom interferometer (considered a major breakthrough in atomic physics) and a Fourier-transform spectrometer used by NASA to measure atmospheric temperature and radiation transfer from space. David Keith (born October 18, 1973) is an American drummer, composer, and producer living in Hartford, Connecticut. He currently plays with Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow and Blackmore's Night. Biography David Keith was born in Hartford, Connecticut. He began playing drums at age four, and went on to play with the Concert Jazz Band at William H. Hall High School in West Hartford, Connecticut. In 1996 he joined the popular progressive rock band Mighty Purple and toured with them throughout the United States. In 2000 he joined the rhythm and blues, and swing band Eight to the Bar, touring the US and Europe through 2006. In 2010 he created Mission Zero with his sister Chenot Keith (born Megan Keith). In 2012 he joined Blackmore's Night, led by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore ( Deep Purple; Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow).
