Cartier station is a Montreal Metro station in Laval, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Orange Line. Located in the Pont-Viau district, it is part of an extension into Laval, and opened on April 28, 2007. Architecture It is a normal side platform station. The station's main entrance, adjoining the bus terminal, takes the form of a right triangle, with the legs parallel to the streets and the hypotenuse parallel to the tracks, thereby bringing the aboveground and underground world into relation. There is an entrance at each of the two points of the triangle, while the centre is sunken to provide access to the escalators to the ticket hall and to the tunnel to the secondary entrance. The Fondation Cartier pour l'Art Contemporain, known simply as the Fondation Cartier, is a contemporary art museum located at 261 boulevard Raspail in the 14th arrondissement of the French capital, Paris. The Cartier Railway (formerly CFC and QCM) is a privately owned railway that operates of track in the Canadian province of Québec. It is operated by the Cartier Railway Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arcelor Mittal, formerly Québec Cartier Mining Company. Mount Cartier is a mountain summit located in British Columbia, Canada. Description Mount Cartier is part of the Duncan Ranges which is a subrange of the Selkirk Mountains. The peak is situated southeast of Revelstoke and east of Mount Begbie which is the nearest higher neighbor. Nearby peaks include Mount Mackenzie to the north-northwest and Ghost Peak, northeast. Precipitation runoff from the mountain drains west to Arrow Lakes which is a reservoir of the Columbia River. Mount Cartier is more notable for its steep rise above local terrain than for its absolute elevation as topographic relief is significant with the summit rising 2,174 meters (7,133 ft) above Upper Arrow Lake in . Cartier Alexander Martin (; born November 20, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player who played seven seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Kansas State. College career He spent his college career at Kansas State University and is one of the top all-time scoring leaders at the school. Cartier Island is an uninhabited and unvegetated sand cay in a platform reef in the Timor Sea north of Australia and south of Indonesia. It is within the Territory of Ashmore and Cartier Islands, an external territory of Australia. The land area of Cartier Island is about . It is located at , on the edge of the Sahul Shelf, about off the north west coast of Western Australia, south of the Indonesian island of Roti, and south-east of Ashmore Reef. At the southern edge of the reef is a shipwreck of the '' Ann Millicent'', an iron-hulled barge of 944 tons wrecked in 1888. The remains of an RAAF Beaufighter can also be seen at low tide.
