As a true freshman at UNC, Boston started 4 games as a cornerback and played in 10 games overall. He finished the season with 32 tackles, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one interception. During the

On March 19, 2020, Boston signed a three-year, $18 million contract extension with the Panthers. On March 17, 2021, Boston was released by the Panthers.
