Colin Jones (American Football)
Colin Jones (born October 27, 1987) is a former American football safety. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at TCU. He went to high school in Bridgeport, Texas and graduated in 2006. He also played for the Carolina Panthers. Safety (American And Canadian Football Position)
Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The defensive responsibilities of the safety and cornerback usually involve pass coverage towards the middle and sidelines of the field. While American (11-player) formations generally use two safeties, Canadian (12-player) formations generally have one safety and two defensive halfbacks, a position not used in the American game. 2011 New York Giants
The 2011 New York Giants season was the 87th season for the team in the National Football League (NFL). They played all of their home games at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The National Football Conference - Western Division or NFC West is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It currently has four members: the Arizona Cardinals, the Los Angeles Rams, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks. Dashon Goldson
Dashon Hugh Goldson (born September 18, 1984) is a former American football safety in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Washington, and was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins, and Atlanta Falcons. Early life Goldson was born in Carson, California. Chris Maragos (born January 6, 1987) is a former American football safety and special teamer. He was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He has also played for the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at Western Michigan before transferring to Wisconsin.
