Development

In December 2023, it was reported that

would collaborate with director Srijit for his next film after ''Pradhan'' (2023). The film's production house confirmed the collaboration between Srijit and Dev by releasing the official poster of the film on social media ''Facebook'' on December 25. Filming of the film began in 2024. Filming is suspended for the 2024 general elections in India; the rest of the filming was completed after the general elections. The film is produced by Gurupada Adhikari and Dev under the Dev Entertainment Ventures.
