Dev Entertainment Ventures Pvt Ltd is an Indian movie production and distribution company based in Kolkata. The company was established by Deepak Adhikari and Gurupada Adhikari in 2017. In a short while, the company has grown on to become one of the leading Bengali movie production houses in Eastern India. History Dev Entertainment Ventures Pvt Ltd was founded by Deepak Adhikari, better known in the Bengali film industry as Dev, one of the leading artists of Bengal in 2017, with his father Gurupada Adhikari. ''Cockpit'' is an Indian Bengali language romantic thriller film directed by Kamaleshwar Mukherjee and produced by Dev (Bengali actor), Dev under the banner of Dev Entertainment Ventures. ''Anandabazar Patrika'' (Bengali: আনন্দবাজার পত্রিকা, ) is an Indian Bengali-language daily newspaper owned by the ABP Group. According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations, it has a circulation of 1 million copies as of December 2019. Its main competitors are ''Bartaman'', ''Ei Samay'', and ''Sangbad Pratidin''. History A Bengali newspaper was published in 1876 in a small village of Magura at Jessore District in British India (now Bangladesh) by Tushar Kanti Ghosh and his father Sisir Kumar Ghosh. They named it ''Ananda Bazar'' after Tusharkanti's grandmother's sister Anandomayee. However, soon the newspaper died.
