History

Underoath announced their plans to disband during the fall of 2012. Chamberlain said of the disbanding, "It's sad to say that we feel like it's time to close this chapter, but we have never seen things more clearly. These have been the best years of my entire life, and I owe that to every single person who ever supported this band along the way. This wasn't a quick decision by any means. It's just time for us to move on." Underoath played their last show in 2013, and shortly after Chamberlain announced his intentions to start work on a new band, Sleepwave. They released their debut single "Rock and Roll is Dead and So Am I" in October of that same year. The band's first tour came in early 2014, with
