Writing

In November 2020, series writer Nadria Tucker announced she was fired from the show, claiming it was for "pushing back on racist and sexist storylines." She also claimed she worked on all 15 episodes of the first season, but was only paid for 13 of them. In a statement, WBTV claimed that "Warner Bros. Television did not exercise its option to extend her ontractfor additional episodes" and that "WBTV was transparent and told her why it was not picking up her option."
