Professional career

Balmazović started his professional career with

in 2007, only to move to Vizura for the 2007–08 season, where he stayed for two seasons, before joining the fusion team Mega Vizura for additional 2009–10 season. For the 2010–11 season, he signed with Metalac Valjevo and stayed with them for three seasons. Balmazović joined Borac Zemun of the Second Basketball League of Serbia in 2021, and averaged 18 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.8 steals per game. On March 1, 2022, he signed with Rabotnički.
