When we contacted the IOC, we confirmed that the IOC will continue to respond to the issue on a case-by-case basis and will not impose a blanket ban. On the morning of 9 August, the IOC sent a letter to South Korea indicating that the use of the flag will be determined on a case-by-case basis."
