The magazine covers resorts, parks, competitive and adventure skiing, interviews, and equipment reviews. Featured photographs of skiers preparing themselves at mountain peaks, skiing down near-vertical slopes and plunging into deep powdery snow have been described by sociologist Mark Stoddart as the skiing equivalent of soft-core pornography. In a study of North American skiing magazines, Stoddart found that ''Ski Canada'' contributed toward the perception of elite skiing country being a gendered space for "athletic, risk-seeking masculinity".
