. In the 15th Century, Ober- and Unterschondorf was a part of the "Hofmark Greifenberg". 1507 bought the Hofmark Erhard von Perfall. The lower subdivision was inhabited by fishermen and small farmers. These were not economically as strong as in the upper subdivision.
