Nanton has 22 years' experience in print and broadcast journalism. He began his career in journalism in 1996 as a business reporter with the '' Daily Newsday'' in Trinidad and relocated to Tobago In July 2001 where he served as head of operations at the ''Daily Newsday''s Tobago Bureau. For seven years he reported in the fields of politics, health and education while at the Newsday. In April 2003 Nanton joined
