. The school was inaugurated in 1964 under the name ''Sabro-Korsvejskolen'', but was later renamed to ''Sabro Korsvejskolen'', without the hyphen.
The school was meant to replace smaller schools in Lading, Skjoldelev, Fårup, Borum og Lyngby.
