History

The station was opened along with the rest of the line from 18 May 1939, becoming however operation only since 20 July 1940 because of the need to complete several systems and the absence of the rolling stock.Nico Molino, ''7 automotrici da Biella a Novara'', in '' it, I Treni Oggi'', n. 48, marzo 1985, pp. 18-24. Because of the altitude, it was not possible to rejoin the new line with the existing station.
