Prairie Township is one of seventeen townships in Kosciusko County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,774 (up from 1,651 at 2010) and it contained 682 housing units.

History

Prairie Township was organized in 1838 and named from its setting upon the prairie. The Hall Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of , of which (or 98.52%) is land and (or 1.45%) is water.
