Plot

The film begins with a wise lady Seeta lives with her younger Raju, drunkard father Rangaiah, and ailing mother Rattamma. Once Rangaiah bickers with a person who dies unfortunately and Rangaiah is sentenced. Knowing it, Rattamma passes away and leaves the kids as orphans. Today, their neighbor Papaiah shelters them which is detested by his wife Tayaru & her sister Sundaramma Here Papaiah's son Vasu endears Seeta when she is affronted and silently quits. Being cognizant of it, Vasu too leaves the house and eagerly waits for Seeta. Meanwhile, Sundaramma moves to her cousin Rao Saheb Govind Rao's house where Sarabhaiah a masked cat settles therein. Both conjoin and make petty theft. Years roll by, and Seeta strives and molds Raju as a civilized. Plus, Raju gets a part-time tutor to the vainglory pampered daughter of Rao Saheb Saroja who loves and knits Raju. However, self-esteemed, Raju picks up a fine job and resides with his sister & wife. Since Saroja is born with a golden spoon, she cannot be tailored to the bourgeoisie lifestyle. Moreover, she envies Raju’s prioritization of Seeta. Time being, Vasu turns into a cop, and Rangaiah releases. At present, Sundaramma approaches Saroja when Raju is in camp. On that night, she heists the jewelry of Saroja via Sarabhaiah and incriminates Seeta. Grief-stricken, Seeta leaves the house and attempts suicide. After returning Raju learns of the plight and berates Saroja when she departs for her father. In that muddle, Raju forgets his office amount which Sundaramma robs. Parallelly, Saroja lands at home, when Rao Saheb smacks and reforms her. Fortunately, Rangaiah shields Seeta, and Raju also arrives whom Rangaiah detects as his children. By the time, they reach home Police seize Raju. At that juncture, Seeta spots Sundaramma skipping, pounces on her, handovers the money, and rushes to the Police when Sundaramma falls on claiming it as her own. Consequently, Rao Saheb gets here and divulges the sly shade of Sundaramma when she affirms the culprit as Sarabhaiah. Eventually, Vasu checks in and remove his disguise when he is about to skitter, Rangaiah catches him and they are united. Finally, Saroja pleads pardon from Seeta & Raju. Papaiah also repents and couples up Seeta with Vasu.
