Career

Chowdhury started his legal practice in 1984 at the Dhaka Court. In 1986, Chowdhury became a lawyer on the High Court Division. Chowdhury started practicing in the Highest court of the country, the Appellate Division of Bangladesh Supreme Court, in 2002. On 30 June 2009, Chowdhury was appointed an additional judge on the High Court Division and on 6 June 2011 his appointed to the Court was made permanent. In April 2013, Chowdhury and Justice Kazi Md Ejarul Haque Akondo convicted Dr Miah Mohiuddin in the case of the
