Australian super Vikings in the 1983/1985 period were engineered in Australia by PMC Adelaide using 50 surplus kits of Leyland Eland trucks imported from South Africa minus chassis rails and cabs. New chassis rails were Australian sourced via International trucks Dandenong. Engines were 0.410 and four variants were produced, front engine with manual or Alison auto, and mid engine with manual or Alison auto.
