There were 217 rural producers on 18,000 hectares of land. 36 farms had tractors (2006). Approximately 600 people were occupied in agriculture. The main crops are rice, beans, and corn. There were 19,000 head of cattle, of which 6,000 were milk cows (2006). There was one bank (2007).
