Bom Despacho is a Brazilian municipality located in the west of the state of Minas Gerais. The population is 51,028 (2020 est.) in an area of 1213.55 km². The city belongs to the meso-region of Central Mineira and to the micro-region of Bom Despacho. Poços De Caldas
Poços de Caldas is a municipality in the south of Minas Gerais state, Brazil, in the microregion of the same name. Its estimated population in 2020 was 168,641 inhabitants. The city is known for its hot springs. History Poços was founded in 1872. The region had been inhabited by the Cataguases Indians, who were expelled from their lands by the '' Bandeiras Unidas Paulistas'' during their quest for gold. The place was first called ''Freguesia de Nossa Senhora da Saúde das Águas de Caldas'' ("Parish of Our Lady of Health of Caldas Waters"). The Human Development Index (HDI) is a statistic composite index of life expectancy, education (mean years of schooling completed and expected years of schooling upon entering the education system), and per capita income indicators, which is used to rank countries into four tiers of human development.
