On the 30th of June 2023, Big Finish scheduled two boxsets for 2024. This included the follow-up to ''The Last Day 1,'' which is scheduled for June 2024. Big Finish's Senior Producer John Ainsworth said that the Seventh Doctor's 2024 output would see "the Seventh Doctor is reunited with all of his companions, as well as some old enemies.”
