Biography

Konrad Ott was born 1959 in Bergkamen, Germany. From 1981 to 1986, he studied philosophy, history and German philology at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. He is regarded as a representative of the 'Third Generation' of the Frankfurt School. Ott is currently Professor for Philosophy and Ethics of the Environment at
