One week later, Alegado entered a tournament for the B4W Heavyweight Championship. He was eliminated in the semi-finals via disqualification by Gordon P. Samsonite on November 15, 2008. That same year, Alegado and Tom Brandi were among the "roasters" for the Iron Sheik Roast produced by Kayfabe Commentaries. C. M. Burnham of Oklafan.com praised the performances of Alegado and Brandi in his review of the event noting that the two men had "the best material out of all of the wrestlers". On January 30, 2009, Alegado lost to Gordon P. Alegado and his wife Jackie have a daughter and a son: Victoria "Tori" Alegado (born 1993) and Michael Alegado, Jr. (born 1996). His wife suffered from epileptic seizures after a roller skating accident as a teenager.
