Early life and education

Wilson received a B.A. in Cognitive Science (Artificial Intelligence) from
U.C. Berkeley The University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley, Berkeley, Cal, or California) is a public land-grant research university in Berkeley, California. Established in 1868 as the University of California, it is the state's first land-grant univ ...
in 1997, and was active in the interactive fiction community at the time. He wrote several works of interactive fiction — including ''Once and Future'' and ''The Lesson of the Tortoise'' — and founded the annual
