The 2008 K League was the 26th season of the
K League. The regular season and playoffs' format was the same as the one used in the
2007 season. It began on March 8, and the final of the playoffs finished on 7 December.
On 2 August 2008, the first ever Jomo Cup kicked off. The K League All-Stars squared off against the
