As a senior in 2011–12, he averaged 20.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.9 steals per game, leading the team to a 21–8 record and third place finish in the state tournament. He averaged 27 points per game during the tournament run and hit a fullcourt shot as time expired in the state semifinals, earning tournament MVP honors.
