Arnott was inducted into the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame in 2000 and the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame in 2002.

She graduated from Dakota Collegiate and completed certificates in Business Accountancy and Business Administration from Red River Community College. She married Doug Arnott and adopted his surname. She worked at
