Description

The lower half of the picture shows the moor landscape of the Dachau Moors, while the upper half is occupied by a sky with clouds. In the center of the picture there is a moor hut in the middle of a group of trees. The picture is dominated by dark browns and greens, with which the blue of the sky and ocher-colored areas in the foreground contrast. Details such as the individual leaves of the trees are meticulously executed with fine brushstrokes.
