Climate

In Gönen, it dropped to -15.1 degrees in 1985. However, the lowest temperature seen recently is only -6.4 degrees. (The data is insufficient so its accuracy is questionable, but still these regions are quite temperate.) There is a 400 decare geothermal banana greenhouse in Gönen district and banana cultivation has been carried out since 2021. Gönen bananas are of high quality and delicious.
