The spaces on both sides of Guldberg School was refurbished between 2006 and 2011. The area to the rear of the school is now called Guldberg Byplads. Guldbergs Plads, on the other side of Guldbergsgade and a little further north, was refurbished by the landscape architects 1:1 Landskab in 2015.
