Following Lakatos's death in 1974 Currie and his LSE colleague, John Worrall, co-edited two volumes of Lakatos's philosophical papers, '' The Methodology of Scientific Research Programmes, Vol. 1'' and '' Mathematics, Science and Epistemology, Vol. 2'', both published in 1978.
