In Gomia CD block in 2011, amongst the class of total workers, cultivators numbered 28,912 and formed 33.85%, agricultural labourers numbered 14,397 and formed 16.86%, household industry workers numbered 2,743 and formed 3.21% and other workers numbered 39,355 and formed 46.08%.
