. After the 2005 season, Clark signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Wings. He played the 2006 season as a member of the Wings and was selected to the All-Star team for a third time. After the 2006 season, Clark was offered the position of head coach of the Toronto Rock, and immediately retired from playing to take the job. His debut season with the Rock was not as successful as Clark was hoping for; the Rock opened the season with three straight losses before climbing to a final 6–10 record.
