Career

In 2000–2001 Farhad Hajiyev worked as a department head, chairman of the assembly, secretary general of the National Council of Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic. In 2001, he was appointed Head of the Sector for Work with International Organizations at Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In November 2002, he was appointed Head of the Youth Affairs Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. From 2006 to 2009, he served as Chairman of the Council of Europe's Youth Affairs Program Committee. From 2012 to 2018 he worked as the Executive Director of the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2018, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
