On May 4, 2022, the UK imposed sanctions against Evgeniy Poddubny for spreading disinformation and propaganda about the events in Ukraine. On May 18, 2022, Australia imposed sanctions against Evgeniy Poddubny, Alexander Kots, and Dmitry Steshin.
