Eom represented South Korea in the ice hockey girl's individual skills challenge at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics. She qualified for the finals ranked 5th, after finishing in the top 3 each of the Fastest Lap, Shooting Accuracy, and Skating Agility events during the preliminary rounds. She competed in the
