Career

Twiss was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and moved to New York City to study acting at age 17. Soon after, she became involved in writing and producing independent films. Her first feature, '' A Gun for Jennifer'', was screened at 27 international film festivals and has become a European cult film. This led to her being cast in a series of lead and supporting roles in several independent films including '' Molotov Samba''. Twiss later appeared in TV shows including '' Law & Order: Special Victims Unit'', '' Law & Order: Criminal Intent'', ''
