A.D. Calvo
Alejandro Daniel Calvo (born October 9, 1967 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine-born producer, writer, and director. Biography Calvo was born in Buenos Aires and moved to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, when he was four. In 1974, his family relocated to the United States. Calvo's early filmmaking and screenwriting efforts gained the praise and support of Oscar-nominated producers Howard and Karen Baldwin, and Grammy-winning musician Michael Bolton. All three were executive producers on his feature film debut, ''The Other Side of the Tracks'', a romantic thriller shot in Connecticut during the summer of 2007 and picked up by Showtime. ''Sweet, Sweet Lonely Girl'' is a 2016 American horror film written and directed by A.D. Calvo and starring Erin Wilhelmi, Quinn Shephard, and Susan Kellermann. Plot Adele is a lonely young teenage girl who has been sent to care for her aunt Dora, who is agoraphobic and refuses to have any contact with Adele other than a series of messages and rules slid under her door. She seems to have an escape from this bleak existence after meeting Beth, a vibrant woman her own age and Adele's opposite in looks and personality.
