Illawarra
The Illawarra is a coastal region in the Australian state of New South Wales, nestled between the mountains and the sea. It is situated immediately south of Sydney and north of the South Coast region. It encompasses the two cities of Wollongo ...
region, after which it was named. The Division was proclaimed in 1900, and was one of the original 75 divisions to be contested at the
first Federal election. It was abolished at the redistribution of 13 September 1922.
Its most notable member was
George Fuller, who served as a minister under
