Early life

Dijon Duenas was born in Germany on June 9, 1992, to a family in the American military stationed abroad. The son of a Guamanian father and a mother from the rural American south of African, Native American, and European ancestry. His parents met in the military and during his childhood he moved several times back and forth between the United States and Germany. He never stayed in the same town for more than a couple years. In the U.S., he's lived in California, Hawaii, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland and Washington. He attended Centennial High School in

Music career

Dijon's music career began as one half of the duo, Abhi//Dijon, which he formed with a high school friend, Abhirath Raju, while he was studying literature at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Between 2012 and 2016, the duo released two EPs and one compilation. The duo released their last EP, ''Montana'', in 2016. Dijon moved from Ellicott City, Maryland to Los Angeles in the summer of 2016. The next year, Duenas collaborated with the band

Dijon made his television debut on The Tonight Show on January 27, 2022, performing the song "Big Mike's"''.''
