Dijon Duenas, (born June 9, 1992) better known as Dijon, is an American musician and producer from Baltimore, Maryland. Early life Dijon Duenas was born in Germany on June 9, 1992, to a family in the American military stationed abroad. The son of a Guamanian father and a mother from the rural American south of African, Native American, and European ancestry. His parents met in the military and during his childhood he moved several times back and forth between the United States and Germany. He never stayed in the same town for more than a couple years. In the U.S., he's lived in California, Hawaii, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland and Washington. He attended Centennial High School in Ellicott City, Maryland and graduated from high school while living in Germany. Schreiber started Pitchfork while working at a record store in suburban Minneapolis, and the website earned a reputation for its extensive coverage of indie rock music. It has since expanded and covers all kinds of music, including pop. Pitchfork was sold to Condé Nast in 2015, although Schreiber remained its editor-in-chief until he left the website in 2019. Sam Wilkes (born July 22, 1991) is an American bassist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music producer. He has collaborated extensively with jazz saxophonist Sam Gendel and toured as a member of jazz-funk band Knower. Wilkes has released seven studio albums since 2018, three of which have been collaborations with Gendel. Early life Sam Wilkes was born on July 22, 1991, and raised in Connecticut. He is the son of photographer Stephen Wilkes. He began playing electric bass as a child and was drawn to the improvisatory music of Phish and The Grateful Dead.
